Jaromir Jagr is now a Devil!

Wow! After losing two favourites of mine, we get back a pretty awesome player in the twilight of his career.

Let me be the first to say, welcome to NJ Jaromir!

  1. I hope for your sake he fares better in New Jersey. In Boston it seemed like he was always knocking on the door but could never really put the puck in the net. He was great at protecting the puck, still one of the best I'd ever seen even at his age, but I felt like every shift he'd take the puck off a teammates' stick, skate around for 30 seconds fending off the opponent, then fall down or turn it over! He didn't seem to pass all that frequently, that's for sure!

  2. Interesting analysis. IT was a pretty long season for Jaromir considering he played for 3 different clubs and went very deep in the playoffs. I think expectations will be different with NJ and he might get protected a little more when it comes to ice time, but time will tell if it works out. Either way it is still exciting and I will gladly trade anyone for a Jagr auto now that he is a Devil.

  3. Hey Dave, you gonna collect Jagr cards now? I might have a *few* of his RCs from 1990-91 if you are interested...and don't already have, like, 20 of them :)
